THE DINING ROOM
“THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET”
El Colegio Ingles has its own kitchen where menus are prepared. These have been developed by a team of nutritionists. We focus on the Mediterranean diet by eating fruits and vegetables, white and red meats, rice, pasta and fish.
In addition to our healthy menu, We strongly emphasize the consumption of fruit through what we call “fruit day”. It is a day in which we encourage our children to bring and eat fruit at break time.
“TRANSITION TO SOLID FOOD”
El Colegio Ingles Ingles has a baby food menu for students who have not started eating solid food yet. This menu is made with fresh vegetables along with chicken, fish, lamb and beef, gradually introducing solid food.
“STARTING TO SPOONFEED, THE FIRST PORRIDGE”
In the babies’ class we will adjust feeding following each pediatrician’s recommendations, following their nourishing schedules, and also introducing new types of food.
DAY CARE CENTRE, EXTRA TIME
Every morning, Colegio Ingles opens its doors at 7:45 for children who need to go to school before 9.30am. During this time, they play, read, paint, and rest if needed, and in the case of not having time to have breakfast at home, they can bring their breakfast and have it at school.
